CANCELED DUE TO HEAT CONTACT EVENT DIRECTOR FOR DETAILS: The Plunge run provides a 6K, 10K, and 10 mile loop, each beginning and ending at the Foundation office in Valentine. Each route gives the runner a taste of the Minnechaduza creek canyon topography (very nice), with the 10K and 10 mile routes adding double and single-track trail running to the asphalt start and finish segments.

This starts flat on asphalt, drops into the Minnechaduza canyon, veers onto double-track to hug the creek for about a mile, then rejoins the asphalt 6K loop, crossing the creek a final time before it stands up at the Park hill for a climb out of the canyon, with a cruise down Main street of the Heart City for the finish. |

This starts flat on asphalt, drops into the Minnechaduza canyon, veers onto double-track to hug the creek for about a mile, then rejoins the asphalt 6K loop, crossing the creek a final time before it stands up at the Park (brake!) hill for a climb out of the canyon, with a cruise down Main and onto 1st street in front of Yucca Dune, where you turn 180 degrees and reverse the loop to the double track junction, at which point you run up the downhill leg of the 6K loop which rejoins the initial 1 mile starting segment, leading right back to the start (finish). What a beauty! |

Same course as the individual 10K - we'll transport your team members to the tag zones - study the topography - the first leg is fast and flat; the second on millings, then sand, then single track; the third is back on asphalt and very hilly (Park-break hill). Choose yer runners wisely! Once team captain has the team created, he/she can access the Team Roster Management page from their AllSportCentral athlete home page to enter the remaining team members' information. Team members will be required to sign a waiver at packet pickup.
TEAM CAPTAINS: Must register entire team during registration or login with user account and select TEAM ROSTER MANAGEMENT from your Athlete Home Page to update teams.
