Everyone's Irish on St Patrick's Day! Put on your best Irish garb and join us in Downtown Sioux Falls for the festivities.
Run the 5 Mile! Run th 5K! Run the Mile! Hey it's St Patrick's Day, why not run them all! After the races, join us downtown for the awards ceremony and watch the parade!
PRIZE MONEY: Up to $500 in Prize Money available for breaking the course record on the 1 Mile or 5K. The Team Competition winners (minimum 10 group participants) will have $200 donated to the charity of their choice.
CHAMPION CHIP TIMING & TIME TRACKER: Champion Chip Timing and Time Tracker will be used for all three races and will enable participants to view results shortly after crosing the finish line via cell phones, PDAs, pagers, or e-mail.
PACKET PICKUP: We encourage you to come early for packet pickup, as participants will be responsible to confirm registration information and verify Chip/BIB assignment prior to the event. This will give us time to make any corrections prior to the race, which will in turn, ensure more accurate results after the race.
AWARDS & BEST COSTUME: Our famous Leprechaun Shoe Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 Overall, Top Masters, Age Group Winners, Best Costume, and Highest Group Participation (corporation, organizations, or groups). Certificates will also be awarded to the top age group winners. Cinco de St Patty's Awards will be given to anyone that has participated in the event at least 5 years. We will also draw for door prizes from area merchants, but you must be present to win! All runners will receive an event shirt, and refreshments with their registration.
HOW DO I GET ONE OF THOSE GREAT ST PATTYS DAY MILE TECHNICAL SHIRTS?
The first 400 people that register online will get the first crack at the technical shirts. Sizes are subject to availability. When we are out of shirts participants will be able to select a shirt from the 2008 event or wait for us to re-order 2009 shirts following the event.
EARLY VS. LATE REGISTRATION: Those who register online at least 2 weeks prior to race day will be guaranteed a shirt at packet pickup. If you register within the 2 weeks before race day, you may be able to pick up your shirt race day. Remaining shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis to the remaining online registrants. Late entries that do not get a shirt on race day, may come by the AllSportCentral office the week following the event to pick up their shirt, or have the option of paying an additional $5.95 shipping and handling fee to have the shirt mailed out.

Start/Finish @ 5th/Phillips under the Phillips to Falls Archway. Run this out and back course through Falls Park past the Statue of David on the bike trails. Turn around point is after the Cliff Aveune bridge shorty after entering Cherry Rock Park.

Compete for the IRISHMAN Title by running the 5 Mile, 5K, and Mile. IRISHMAN Finishers will get a free finisher's certificate documenting their accomplishment and an IRISHMAN shirt.
OVERALL IRISHMAN WINNERS will have the lowest combined time across all 3 events. The male and female winners will win a famous Leprechaun Shoe Trophy.

Team Competition Winners will have $200 donated to the charity of their choice. The group (organization, corporation, or club) with the highest participation will be deemed the team competition winner. A minimum of 10 total participants across all races is required to be eligble for the award.
TEAM CAPTAINS: Must create a team name online, and then notify team members to select team name from drop down list when registering under the Team Competition Challenge category. They should also send the registration link to team members.
Additional fee will apply if you want to participate in more than 1 event. |
