RACE REGISTRATION DROP OFF: If you are not registering via online registration, race applications can be dropped off at either the Charlotte Running Company, or the Charlotte Hyatt Hotel.
PACKET PICK UP: Packets may be picked up at Hyatt Charlotte, 5501 Carnegie Blvd., on Wednesday before the race 4:00 - 9:00p.m. during the Sports Expo. Race day packet pick up will be held at Hyatt Charlotte beginning at 7:00a.m.
SPORTS EXPO: A Sports Expo will be held on Wednesday before the race from 4:00 - 9:00p.m. at Hyatt Charlotte. Pick-up your race packet and get samples and coupons from area sporting goods vendors, health products, and Pepsi.
AWARDS: formal Awards Ceremony will be held for the top 3 Male and Female Overall winners and the top Male and Female Masters winners along with the top 3 Wheelchair winners in the 8K race. Age group and Corporate Team winners will also be announced.
Race results - will be posted as soon as possible after the conclusion of the race at Hyatt Charlotte and on the web at www.hyattturkeytrot.com , on the RMS Website: www.rmssports.com. The awards ceremony will be held in Hyatt Charlotte at 11:00a.m. on race day. There will be no duplication of awards. Tot Trot - Participants will receive a special award just for participating . 1 Mile Fun Run/ 5KWalk - All participants will receive a commemorative multi-color long sleeved T-shirt; no other awards will be given.
FAMILY RELAY: Teams of four runners will compete in the 8K race, with all members of the team competing in the entire race. Teams will all start together and the average of the four members' times will be used as the score for the family. All participants should complete a separate entry form and all team entries must be mailed in together. The fee for each team is $75.00 and large families may enter more than one team. Special awards will be presented to the top3 family teams.
HOST HOTEL: The luxurious Hyatt Charlotte is the official Hotel of the SouthPark Turkey Trot. A special runnerÃ???s package of $79 per night (single or double occupancy) is offered for all participants. Please call for room reservations (704) 554-1234 .
POST RACE PARTY: A post race party, courtesy of Hyatt Charlotte and Pepsi, will be held immediately following the race, with an awards ceremony at 11:00a.m. Music and entertainment will be provided by Lite 102.9, the official radio station of the Turkey Trot.
